Just returned from visiting my new friend Johnny. He had his surgery yesterday where they removed half of one lung. He is now out of ICU but has a long way to go.
Many of you have e-mailed me to let me know that you are praying for Johnny. It's great to utilize technology to do Kingdom work!
Got a chance to meet Johnny's mom today and she thanked me and "my friends" for praying for her son. "We're just going to keep praying for him," she said. "So will we," I said. She quietly said, "thank you."
As I talked to Johnny, he looked so tired and unsure. He's had a terribly rough life these past few weeks. It meant so much for me to be able to look at him and know this situation is not hopeless. Cancer isn't allowed to cross over into eternity.
I know Johnny would appreciate your prayers and I'll post an occasional update.
